1.中文：我把給她打過(guò)電話的事全忘了。
?。ㄕ`）I forgot all about to telephone her.
?。ㄕ㊣ forgot all about telephoning her.（介詞后不能接不定式，只能接動(dòng)名詞。）
2.中文：你介意我在這里吸煙嗎？
?。ㄕ`）Would you mind for my smoking here？
?。ㄕ￤ould you mind my smoking here？（在前一句中mind后可接me for smoking here，表示相同的意思。）
3.中文：史密斯一家在考慮搬往芝加哥。
（誤）The Smiths are considering to move to Chicago.
?。ㄕ㏕he Smiths are considering moving to Chicago.（consider后不能接不定式，要接動(dòng)名詞。）
4.中文：我習(xí)慣于去海灘。
?。ㄕ`）I am used to go to the beach.
?。ㄕ㊣ am used to going to the beach.（be used to中的to是介詞，后接動(dòng)名詞；used to后接原形動(dòng)詞。）
